I spent a total of $70.91 on Steam for the following games:
Not a bad haul for the money, especially considering that $20 of that $70 was for gifts.

The AI in Far Cry 2 seems like some of the best I’ve seen in a what is primarily an action game. Perhaps examined on an individual NPC level, the AI isn’t actually that good; however at a higher level, especially with multiple NPCs interacting with each other, they (usually) give the appearance of being human-like.

A boat. Why did this game have to start with a boat? It brought back better forgotten memories of all the terrible missions in the GTA series that involved boats. The water here sure is a lot more shiny, though.

I finished Act I in Titan Quest. I didn’t have much trouble with the Telkine; just used my usual boss “technique” of Battle Standard and whale away, occasionally quaffing a potion. The loot I received wasn’t that great. I recently went from sword & shield style to dual-wielding axes. The skill point buy-back feature in this game is superb. I sincerely hope Diablo III allows something similar. I think I may get rid of the wolf companion skill before I start Act II and use those points for something useful, and get the nymph when she’s available.
I recently started to play Far Cry 2. Unfortunately, my computer was not up to the task of running it very well. It ran OK with severely reduced graphics options, but part of the charm of the game is the immersive, photorealistic graphics. Since I also had some framerate issues with other games I enjoy (notably Left 4 Dead and King’s Bounty), I decided it was time to try and remedy the situation.
